Islands of World

An island is defined as the piece of land surrounded by water lengthened from all its sides. An island may lie in the middle of a lake or a river or a sea, or even an ocean. Depending on their positions different names. Celle located in the lake or river is called a eyot. An island in the middle of the sea or ocean, which is much smaller is called an island. Again a group of islands that form an archipelago. The word came from the island of the island nation Iceland, which in the language of the country means island.
